Wanna One's latest comeback showcases not only their versatility but
their sub-units' songs. Eleven members formed from Season 1 of Produce 101,
they are nearing the end of their contracts with each other. Yet, their
comeback song "Light" really hones into the core of all their vocalists
and rappers. From an enthusiastic beginning with "Energetic" to a
head-bopping track "Boomerang" and just a three month gap between
comebacks, this new song cools down the group's
dynamic in the best way. All three of their title tracks along with
"Burn It Up" and "I.P.U" tells a tale of any boy's take on love and a
boy's fiery determination for their Wannables (fandom name).

[Comment: With Ong's voice saying this line, the meaning of it goes through your ears so soothingly.]

[Comment: The repetition of "Do you feel the same?" can really draw an active K-pop listener in, especially since it's Jaehwan and Sungwoon's amazing vocals.]

[Comment: Even though many lines are sang again and again for consistent verses in the song, the change in voices from one member to another does not go unnoticed. Also, the lines where two members sing together is and will always be breathtaking.]

Looking at all of Wanna One's released songs, my favorite lyrically would definitely be this one. On the other hand, ultimately I can't stop listening to "Burn It Up" and "Boomerang." This is a great song and an even better meaning (after translating it).
What else to say except:
This song's words and dance moves together is a powerful attack to their Wannables. You can really feel each member's emotions.
My attempt to interpret "Light" was that it's:
an illuminated broken heart of a blue shadow in the darkness, unexpected eargasmic melancholy, and a confession of light in a purposeless love adventure.
In reality: it is just a song for their fans, as explained in their Music Bank comeback interview.
