Music Video Review: AOA's 'Bingle Bangle'

I have never listen to a girl group whose maknae was born in 1996, not until I watched AOA's "Bingle Bangle."

Originally not being into K-pop girl groups, I didn't know any girl groups that debuted before 2014. I have come across AOA though. I heard of their song "Heart Attack" before and I loved the chorus. I honestly don't know how many members are in AOA until I searched it up. Also, apparently they have been a group since 2012. The more you know!!

Anyways, even though "Heart Attack" was a catch, this comeback song of theirs is not as catchy as the vibe of name itself. While watching the music video, I found myself trying to find something great about it. It took me a while, but I ending up smiling throughout the music video after the first line with "bingle bangle" in it was sang. I love their vocals and their raps. I was shocked to see this unexpected mashup of cutesy yet maturity, with a girly gamer concept in the music video.

I did not watch the music video more than once. I went on to watch their Mnet comeback stage. I was totally shocked to see such dance moves. Yes, their shorts were a bit much from what should have been the focus, however, I did really liked their stage outfits.

To be honest, I had trouble enjoying this song of theirs. I really loved "Heart Attack." There isn't much more to say, but that I didn't look at all of the lyrics' translation.

Even though I would just stick to listening to "Heart Attack," their girly gamer music video concept was the highlight of this comeback music video of theirs. Being somewhat of a girly gamer myself, I never seen a K-pop music video with a gamer spin to it. I enjoyed seeing this new concept.

The only girl group I know that is six years strong and still going: AOA!

AOA...화이팅!
