Who my bias + bias wreckers are, why I adore them

BIAS:
Jisoo, Nayeon, Yuju, Rena                                                                                  Jimin, Yuto, Felix

From oldest to youngest: Jisoo, Nayeon, Jimin, Yuju Yuto, Rena, Felix

I only chose to write about seven biases because these are my biases from the groups in which I listen to the most (almost daily).

BLACKPINK's Jisoo (Kim Jisoo)

Jisoo is so cute and adorable. Surprisingly, out of all of my biases (including those I didn't mention in here), she is one of the few "visual" of her group. But to me, all of my biases are visuals. I don't remember how she stood out to me from the other members, but I really love her vocals and how cute she is. Watching her in any BLACKPINK video makes me smile all the time. Her carefree and 4D personality really influences me to just not care so much about others' opinions.

TWICE's Nayeon (Im Nayeon)

TWICE was the first girl group that I listened to and they got me to listen to girl groups more. I started to distinguish the nine members and then found Nayeon. I was shocked that she was the oldest of the group, because she didn't act like it. Anyways, what I adore about her is her front teeth, personality, and voice. Her voice made me want to listen to more TWICE songs. She is very funny and caring. Seeing her grow and hearing her voice for the past 7-8 months has taught me to follow your own dreams. Fact: she went to an audition behind her own mother's back and instructions not to.

BTS's Jimin (Park Jimin)

BTS was the group that got me listening to K-pop back in 2015. I did not know what "bias" or any other K-pop terms meant, however he caught my eye. I really love his voice and how he hits the high notes. I also love his cuteness and transition of hairstyles/hair colors. I really loved his solo tracks in BTS' albums ("Lie" and "Intro: Serendipity"). Another thing that I like about him is that his birthday is just three days before my birthday. His high notes always give me chills and him being noble and sweet is so adorable. If it wasn't for Jimin and BTS, then I would have never found K-pop or be obsessed with it. His statement about his growth throughout the years inspires me to trust that I will become an even better person as I am growing up.

GFriend's Yuju (Choi Yuna)

I came across Yuju while I was watching TWICE on Weekly Idol. She is also born in the same month as me. I love her high notes and vocals so much. Her personality is very odd (Nickname: GFriend's Weird Kid), but I really love her because of it. She doesn't care if anyone point out something particular about her (like her funny and weird dances). Her voice can always calm me down; I always listen to GFriend's songs in my moments of despair. Along with the rest of GFriend, she is so passionate in improving her singing and loves it so much. She motivates me to do better everyday and not settle for being okay. Her diligence is admirable as well as her ambitiousness to try new things without hesitation or fear.

PENTAGON's Yuto (Adachi Yuto)

I discovered PENTAGON when they debuted alongside BTS' promotions of WINGS near the end of 2016. There are 10 members and Yuto stood out to me because of his voice and raps. What is interesting is that he is my only bias who isn't Korean. He is Japanese and one of the only two foreign members of PENTAGON. His green hair caught my eye when I first saw PENTAGON's music videos. I love his calm and chill vibe in PENTAGON's interviews and appearances on variety shows. I really love how his voice adds something different into PENTAGON's songs and he commands the stage very well now.

PRISTIN's Rena (Kang Yebin)

I barely found out about her existence and then proclaimed as my bias in (the girl group) PRISTIN a couple of days ago. She is also an October baby. She caught my eye in PRISTIN's sub-unit: PRISTIN V. I love her hair and her whole aura that she oozes. Though most of my biases are vocalists and I love them because of their high notes, I started to notice the rappers in K-pop groups. She is not only a rapper, but a vocalist as well. Overall though, I really love her voice, even when she is just talking. I love how she has many layers to her. She can be so adorable that you'd just want to melt. She can be very charming and sexy that you'll question if that's her. She is beautiful and funny in many ways. She is also someone who is passionate about what she does and always wants to practice her lines in order to showcase a even better her. The best thing is that she is still mysterious and a fairly new artist (PRISTIN debuted last year), so I get to learn more about her.

Stray Kids' Felix (Lee Felix)

This boy! Haha, his voice is so deep and he is the same age as me. I love how he is Australian and Korean. He was the member who caught my eye in Stray Kids' "Hellevator" music video. He really stood out to me, with his blonde hair and beanie. I look forward to seeing him grow since Stray Kids barely debuted three months ago. I don't have much left to say. He was struggling with Korean for a while but he preserved through it, and is speaking it very well with his fellow members. He ability to keep going and being strong, in what people labeled him to be very weak in his Korean, is amazing.

(start @ 2:57 in "Hellevator" music video)

Some of my other biases from other groups though, are GOT7's Youngjae, SEVENTEEN's DK, iKON's B.I, Wanna One's Jinyoung, BIGBANG's T.O.P, and MAMAMOO's Solar.

Fun facts (not sure if "fun" is the right word):

My ultimate bias (bias of all my biases; your one true love) used to be Jimin and then Yuju. But now I think I have three ultimate biases. Time will tell all.

And, all of my biases above have different last names. :O

BIAS WRECKERS:
                                                                                      Rosé, Eunha                                                                                                           Roa, Lee Know

From oldest to youngest: Rosé, Eunha, Roa, Lee Know

A bias wrecker is a member catches your eye away from your bias and makes you wonder if your bias is actually your favorite member of the group or not.

I realized that I only have four bias wreckers.  Also, I do not have that much to say about them as I did for my biases. I just will link videos of why they are my bias wreckers.

BLACKPINK's Rosé (Park Chaeyoung)

GFriend's Eunha (Jung Eunbi)

PRISTIN's Roa (Kim Minkyung)

Stray Kids' Lee Know (Lee Minho)

Fun fact (it's honestly just something extra to mention): three out of the four were born in 1997.

Aside from my biases and bias wreckers, I also have several (what I called) "bias wrecker wreckers." So a bias wrecker is someone in a K-pop group that makes you rethink about your bias being your bias. My "bias wrecker wreckers" make me think about my bias wreckers being my bias wreckers.

These are my "bias wrecker wreckers" so far: GFriend's Yerin and Stray Kids' Seungmin. But to be honest, their entire groups (GFriend and Stray Kids) are my biases, bias wreckers, and "bias wrecker wreckers."

BIGBANG, BLACKPINK, BTS, GFriend, GOT7, iKON, Mamamoo, PENTAGON, PRISTIN, Stray Kids, SEVENTEEN, TWICE, Wanna One...
