I am glad that TWICE was came back, but am even
more happy and surprised realizing that this was their first summer comeback.
For me, this is my kind of my fourth comeback with them. I got into TWICE in the middle of their comeback last October with the title track "Likey." When I saw the teasers, I did not know what to expect from them. This was a new side to TWICE because their entire look and aura does not scream "TWICE" as much as their other songs did. TWICE is known for their cuteness and catchy songs. However, I realized that in K-pop, an image is never really crystal clear. A K-pop group always goes further to show their many sides and different types of music.
Anyways, after watching their music video for the first time, I was already refreshed with the colors of the scenery (as seen in the teasers). I love that with K-pop comebacks, you never know what to expect and I don't really have any expectation for these K-pop comebacks.
At first, I disliked their change a lot because as I said, this was a new side to them. Back to the music video, I loved how the song started out with my bias, Nayeon. An immediate smile formed when I heard the first line of the song in English and it being sung by her. I had five bias wreckers when I first listened to TWICE, but now I don't have any. But, Momo was so cute in this music video and caught my eye. I enjoyed the different way of the rap that Dahyun did. Comparing it to "What Is Love?"(their previous comeback), I love the difference in the speed and tone of the raps.
The choreography for "Dance The Night Away" is so good and always getting better and better. Everything overall is amazing and great to see. What else is great to see in their improvement. K-pop groups improves so much with every comeback. I idolize them because of their hard work, dedication, time, and effort. Speaking in terms of TWICE, their growth has been great to view. From girl crushes to cutesy to cool like the sea and wind, TWICE comes backs with matured cuteness.
I love how their were funny scenes as well as a relay of close-up frames to every member. My favorite scene was the slow-mo scene that starts at 2:36 mark. That is about it, because I don't really listen to them excessively. I love them because they are my first. My first girl group. I took a look at the lyrics and it is adorable and fun and addictive. This song is not going on my playlist, but it will be in my head for a while.
